Our resident Barn Owls a few years ago popping their heads out waiting for mum/dad to come and feed them.
It was totally worth the hours waiting to see them! (I was hidden in a camo hut I made with my camera and at a distance on a wall to catch all 4 looking)
It’s an honour having barn owls live at our home and have had successful clutches for over 10 years now!
As a side benefit, there are definitely no rats in that house. Not anymore.
Owls earn their keep. They may be antisocial, but they don’t like taking charity. 😄
