    This space is not a monolith with a singular set of rules.

    It’s a network of different ones that interface with each other.

        You are welcome. I tried to be brief but can answer follow-up questions.

        I would also like to point out that you aren’t signed up on a lemmy server but will still come across their users and communities/posts. You’re on piefed, different devs, features, etc. But fully compatable with Lemmy, kbin, etc.

        This side of Fedi is often known as the “threadiverse”.
