Dang, what a fun game to watch!

Brunson was on fire but if I’m the Knicks I’m gonna try and find more players who can get things going, esp. in terms of momentum. It’s a tall order to ask one person to carry the whole team on his back, especially when he’s so short.

Damn, great performance by Brunson. Outside of Champagnie’s hot first half, Spurs shot horribly the entire game. Robinson is also one of the few bigs that Wemby struggles against. He and KAT screened out Wemby effectively to get Brunson good looks in the paint. KAT also draws Wemby out of the paint because of his shooting, which lessens his impact at the rim.

Harper was torching them and the Spurs coaching staff being so rigid with lineups stuck with the starters in the closing minutes.

Spurs will bounce back for sure, but they lost home court.

Mike Brown is a little slow calling time outs on Spurs’ runs.

Harper being the most composed on the Spurs is wild. Wemby, Castle, and Vassell seem to have the jitters.

Kind of sucks that it’s only Game 1 and Brunson is already limping a bit.

Also it’s been pretty fun seeing KAT and Wemby go at it.

Very good game 1. Loved the runs by both teams at the end.
