Why would you think Kamala wouldn’t have started a war with Iran, or would/could have run it significantly better. (different perhaps, but better?) We don’t know of course.

Remember Trump’s first term he was the only president in memory to not send troops for something. If war was your only consideration you could be justified in thinking Trump’s proven track record made him the best choice in 2024. We of course know how that turned out, which is a lesson few will learn for next time they put their trust in a president.

Why would anyone have started a war with Iran?

      • Negotiations were in place for nuclear disarmament, that nobody was projecting failure on.
      • Hormuz was always a known entity to the intelligence communities.
      • Israel has long needed to be told to get back in its box.

well when you remember that America just does whatever Israel tells them to do… that’s why we were inevitably going to start a war in Iran no matter who was elected.

Syria fell, Hezbollah in Lebanon was weakened. This openned air corridor to Iran from Israel. Biden was very supportive to Israel during Gaza. Its hard to imagine Iran operation would not get some support as well. Messaging would probably be about human/women rights so it would be easier for the publicc to swallow.

Israel has long needed to be told to get back in its box.

And…? That would’ve changed with Harris how?

I was unaware Harris was talking about her desires to turn Gaza into a vacation beach full of hotels during the election lead up.

Going to war with Iran is giving Israel exactly what it wanted. So, why would someone want a ground war with Iran?

Iran was already fighting a proxy war with Israel. We can debate the best response, but don’t claim the war is new. I too opposed this action because bad as Iran is, war is still evil.

Its extremely unlilely Harris would have started a war eith Iran, she didn’t need to distract the rubes about being a pedophile in the pedofiles.

Yeah, okay. Among the candidates in 2024 who were formerly a president, he was the least warlike! However, this is counter-balanced by the fact that, among the candidates in 2024 were formerly a president, he was also the most warlike!

I personally don’t believe Kamala would have started a war with Iran as the intelligence community wouldn’t have recommended it. Were a war started, at the very least it would have included the support of allies.

Many allies were happy with the war when it started. Their only concern was that they were not consulted. Merz/Starmer in particular.

I’m not so much concerned with their perspective on the war as I am having their support in achieving war objectives.
