I haven’t. Dude overreacts sometimes, but a lot of people he banned legitimately deserved it. Mia is a mixed bag. It sucks she just randomly accused him of being anti-trans and anti-leftist with no evidence whatsoever, but outside of that, Mia didnt need to be banned.
Is there a post or a comment breaking down that ban? I know of nothing involving Rimu except that post about dbzer0’s AI use in moderation.

Thanks for sharing! Indeed, this particular post is written as if to dramatize. No evidence of transphobia, yet the conclusion is “anti-trans”. Curation for a feature that Lemmy doesn’t even offer presented as “shadowbanning”. If this is the reason Rimu mentioned pronouns on Matrix, not only is it a perfectly valid response, but it also means the YTB post is highly dishonest in its framing.
From what I saw and read: Mia requested 'reply_is_stupid" be changed to “reply_is_loweffort”, alluding the term ‘stupid’ is problematic and considered ableist. Rimu responded by saying he put pronouns in Piefed so he can’t be a transphobe and then kicked her.
That was mostly the interaction. If you consider Rimu actions, it’s either berift of logic, or it seems as though Rimu equated ableism and mental disability to pronouns and being trans.
I prefer the illogical interpretation. It’s more in line with Rimu crashing out lately from what I assume is extended burnout.

Thanks. Looks pretty different from how it’s presented. It feels like there is context missing, because the transphobe part doesn’t make sense and appears to have no relevance to the suggestion, which Rimu acts on. The pronouns question from Rimu seems to be in reference to the She/Her part of the name? I can’t tell for sure without access to the history before then.
Edit: Also, there are good reasons to think rimu kicked Mia not right after what is shown, but later. You can see there’s at least one cut off paragraph between the last shown message and the “kicked” notification, as also evidenced by the arrow down button.
Also worth considering that she brought up function name “reply_is_stupid” being ableist on matrix during the time there were constant anti-Rimu threads popping up on db0. It smells of her trying to bait any kind of response that can be framed negatively.
It was on the piefed admin channel on MatrixIt was on her post in the Fediverse comm about being shadowbanned.
