- A Civilian Labor Corps - A meaningful work guarantee, essential work with high community value but low profit incentives that therefore won’t be addressed by the private sector
- Medicare for All - Healthcare as a human right
- Election Integrity - Getting money out of politics
- Climate Action - Social Security for the planet
All of this sounds great but there needs to be more safeguards against Presidential abuse. It’s clear that electing the wrong person to the office can mean none of the Federal laws mean shit.
how the left can win.
- elect someone that’s actually on the left -not just symbolicly, to President of the U.S.
- pack the supreme court
- have them overturn citizen’s united & buckley v valeo.
- then they can realisticly pursue all other important issues
Nothing else can happen until we accomplish steps 1-3.
