You mean… apart from them not wanting to admit that Genocide Joe essentially tossed the election to MAGA?
Because it shows that the Democrats’s commitment to their donors at the expense of their voters is a losing strategy. They would rather continue to lose elections as diet Republicans instead of actually doing what the electorate wants.

Liberalism is a fundamentally oligarchic ideology - which, by default, also makes it fundamentally anti-democratic.
