I am Antifa. Antifa means Anti Fascist … so yea, if MAGAs “hated enemy” is an antifascist movement then they have basically just classified themselves.

Recently had a WWII vet visit my parish. Dude was over 100 years old and was in town for a Pearl Harbor commemoration. He told me that he was among the first group of Allied soldiers to fly over Europe after the surrender and he described seeing people trying to make a life among the rubble of their towns and cities. He then compared this to what he was seeing in Gaza and started to lament the US’ support of Israel and how he saw clear connections to what is going on there and what he witnessed in Europe. I was still an active member of a Baptist Church in the early 2000s and I remember arguing with the leader of my Sunday School group about the dangers of the Patriot Act and how it opens the door to stuff like this. We already know the camps exist, and if you’ve seen some of the images that have been leaked you’ll know the conditions are inhumane and cruel. These new labels can be applied to anyone, for any reason. And make no mistake, you don’t even have to be in left-wing spaces to be accused and disappeared. So it’s not just you in danger, it’s everybody around you. It’s your co-workers, your family, your friends. All it takes is a wrong place, wrong time.

I actually know a few “lefties” that thought guns are stupid killing machines and nobody should have them years ago. After the first trump administration they all took an about face and are now pro gun and think we should all be armed. Our government should live in fear of us. They are there to serve and protect us, and we are the ones feeding them to make it possible. Instead they take our money and give socialism to their billionaire buddies corporations or send it to Israel or bomb random countries. We should not live in fear of our authoritarian regime, it’s time to turn the tables. Don’t tread on our freedom 🇺🇸 and don’t tread on sovereign nations because u want their resources.
