PSA: Look up a Free Store in your area to volunteer at if you are feeling purposeless or like life doesn’t matter. There are a lot of people who you can create community with.
None in my area and absolutely zero luck trying to get one started. Nobody in my area wants to even consider letting “those lazy freeloaders (black people and those even poorer than they are) have free stuff when [they] have to work for [their] money”
People in my region (US Gulf South) have abysmally low class consciousness, especially in these podunk towns out in the middle of bumfuck . These people are scared of their own shadow.
Yep, and the secret majority of them are on one form of assistance or another. (statistically, for that area) The specific brand of mouthbreathers that the US pulps into being are going to be key to the species’ dissolution.
The real question we should be asking ourselves is: Y’all doing popcorn or s’mores for the end of the world? I presume the latter’d be best closest to the flashpoints, but popcorn’s tough to beat, across many demographics. 🤔🤷🏼♂️
