    It would be hard to reach interception. A modern biplane is slightly faster than a shahed, but closing the distance between detection and take off could take longer than the remaining shahed mission. WW2 prop planes would probably be effective in otherwise controlled air space. Might be time to dust off the Yakovlev plans, and maybe check the local air museums.
