We’re already there. We were supposed to have socialized healthcare in the 60s, and a pension system in the 2010s. This country is beyond fucked. Not to mention that we STILL don’t have abundant public transportation. And with EVs taking off, we’re not building electrical upgrades or charging stations like we did in the 50s with the gas automobile revolution.
