Having played most of Vanillaware’s games, Bladed Fury does feel as coming from Muramasa Rebirth (didn’t play the Wii OG), except story is consistent, tone is more in one place, and it doesn’t overstay its welcome. Also it feels inspired by other Vanillaware games from the same time, though only very slightly so.

Final Fantasy XII, I wanted to both complete its Sky Pirate’s Den (the achievements) and play again for remembering the finer details of the plot for some years now, and though the save I finally managed to do it I started early last year, life happens and I only managed to pick it back up over half a year after my last save. However, what I remembered to be a decent game, actually was much better, being so rich in details, lore, etc., and gameplay-wise, being seldom repetitive.

Picked the two more or less at random this past month, and with how good they turned out to be, glad I did for both. =D

Might pick other versions of FFXII to play later, and I also started the also Vanillaware-inspired The Vagrant last month, but still deciding if I play either now in April, if I replay River City Girls 2, or play something else.
