You do need to wipe off the water at least and not all models have the feature to dry you after it’s done washing your bum.

As someone who has a Toto washlet that goes on top of regular toilets, can confirm that they are awesome. Would recommend. I can’t go back to regular toilets.

We got a replacement toilet seat bidet a few years ago and it was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Just connects to the water line with a split and nearby power outlet.
