“This is how we should order our lives together,” he said. “And frankly, yes, we are going to impose it upon you. If you don’t like it, I’m sorry, but this is good and right and just if it lines up with God’s standards, and I am going to enforce my morality on you in as much as our morality is God’s morality.”
“You should always check yourselves,” he continued. “Do I believe what God believes? Am I defending what God says is good?”
“And if it is, then you should have the courage to say, ‘This is how we’re going to run our town, this is how we’re going to run our county, this is how we’re going to run our state, and this is how we should run the United States of America by legislating the morality that we can find in the Bible.'”

What excuses did I make for them? I’m calling out the people who didn’t pull the fucking lever, or stayed at home because they were pissed they were going to get 30% of what they wanted instead of 0% of what they’re getting.
To sit at home while you could prevent all this bullshit is tacit approval for what trump is doing. It’s as simple as that.
You are right that is how voters act, to expect otherwise is to excuse leadership that refuses to grapple with that reality.
Voters had their chance to vote their hearts in the primary. After that, it’s ‘stop fascism.’
And no, this is not an invitation to debate ‘well the Democrats didn’t have a primary’ because Biden was the nominee until he fucking stepped aside like all the progressives wanted.
If you don’t even debate whether there should have been a primary after a statement like that then okay, let’s say you’re right about voters, then what? How does this lesson inform your actions going forward?
Because at least with my perspective the goal is to get better leadership to win more voters over. With your perspective what are we doing exactly? Lecturing voters? Waiting for more faces to be eaten?
Biden was the nominee. He was the incumbent president who was nearly a top 3rd president with a historically tight congress.
He dropped out to acquiesce to the liberal people screaming he was too old, and his VP ran in his stead. There was no fucking time for a primary.
Or do you simply forget that this isn’t a perfect world, and you have to make the best decision you can make with the options you’re given.
There was no fucking pony and rainbows and a pot of gold for everyone. The choice was Kamala or the fucking Nazi, and way too fucking many liberals and leftists were seemingly okay with the Nazi because their precious little feelings weren’t individually addressed by the person running against the fucking Nazi.
You said it’s not open to debate and I agreed to move on but now you’re debating the point. I guess you really do plan on lecturing voters until democracy is saved. After all that happened, you think voters can be reasoned to a better position? Tell me again how unrealistic voters are and I’ll laugh harder at the person still trying to debate them.
