I’m sitting on a 7th gen classic (i think) that I’ve been wanting to . I just heard they’re one of the more troublesome ones to mod so I keep putting it off. It’s somewhere in my mile-long list of projects I want to do
They are harder to open than a 5th gen but the 6th and 7th are also open-enable enough to consider the advantages (skip songs using the headphone button, bigger amount of memory for the number of files, also coverflow on original OS)
Yeah, it’s been a while but I remember hitting a wall of warnings and precautions before even considering it, way more than stuff like console or controller mods I’ve done in the past, and it kinda talked me out of it

Yeah, apparently they are really difficult to open. That’s why I’ve been considering a 5th gen instead.
