In my home gym, I set up a little white board to record my maxes

text says: squat 120 kg x1 bench 75 kg x2 deadlift 135 kg x2

I’m shocked that people expect to make progress without knowing where they are vs where they need to go. Record everything. DB curls, deadlift, lat raises. Everything. Over time, everything needs to trend upwards.

I have a whole table with my 1-20 rep maxes for a dozen upper and a dozen lower big lifts. I have smaller tables with all my accessory lifts.

Awesome stuff :D nothing beats moving up another notch

I mostly train around ~10 reps these days but I updated all my singles in December and I flew past my old PRs, felt so good

I have a few friends that workout regularly and I’m perplexed that at no time do they actually monitor their lifts.
