Have some instances and specific users blocked which seems to work fine in web version but not in apps. This seems to affect comments only as posts from those users and their profiles are hidden properly.
I’m using Voyager but I checked Mlem too and it’s the same there. For a bit I thought it was expected behaviour for instance blocking but I just realised it happens with users blocked individually as well.
I’m guessing this might be API related?

Happening across multiple apps like this probably means that a filter isn’t being applied correctly in the api itself. Thanks for the bug report!
