In this small community I might be late to the party but in case not, I thought I would pass along a rather fun YouTube channel that I discovered just recently called Knife Nerdery
https://www.youtube.com/@KnifeNerdery/videos
It seems custom made (har?) for this community. Especially the latest two videos, the most recent of which goes through a short history of folding knives with blades bigger than their handles.
Not trying to astroturf for the channel or anything, I don’t have any association. Just figured I would pass it along.

I hope Pete starts posting again. I miss his videos. He seems to go through a flurry of creative output and then crickets for weeks and weeks.
Well, Pete posted a new years update but more life than knife. Seems like he might be done with knife content for the most part. Ah well, this seems to be the way with a lot of hyper-specific hobby/enthusiast channels. Either they burn out or they develop new interests (imagine! 😂 ) and move the channel in a different direction.
EverydayCommentary is mainly written blog first. His insights into the American knife scene is interesting. https://www.everydaycommentary.com/
Blades bigger than the handles, I click! I must know if the handles are neon colored and tactical, with a hidden bottle opener.
Sometimes the algorithm just works(kinda scary)… I watched the same video this morning and thought about posting the channel in this community too.
Yes, most of the time it’s suggesting absolute garbage but every once in a while I get a great suggestion like this.
