Are y’all saying that you prefer to pay sales tax on stuff that you buy?
It leads to problems like property taxes being the sole support for things like schools, so if you live in a lower cost of living area the schools will be worse. NH has it’s own set of problems, and sales tax isn’t the biggest one, but the free staters are stupid libertarian fucks
This is a straw man fallacy. It’s not fair for someone to say they support sales tax because of the impact on property tax. Those two things are unrelated.
Having no sales tax is amazing. I save thousands of dollars each year. It’s like having Christmas for free each year, haha! 🙂

In New Hampshire we pay the federal income tax, but there is no state tax on income. In most other states you pay both a state and a federal income tax.
Several states in the US have no state income tax:
- Florida
- Texas
- Washington
- Nevada
- Wyoming
- New Hampshire
- Alaska
- Tennessee
