After an all-too brief amount of time on the Lions bandwagon, I have no choice but to throw my full support behind the Als. The Riders winning a Grey Cup in Winnipeg is not a tolerable outcome.
That sentiment makes perfect sense as a Bombers’ fan. I loved the way you expressed it; I chuckled a few times. If Alexander’s leg is good enough, I’d say the Als have a good chance of the Cup. I was pretty blown away at how much team chemistry I saw after they bested the Ti-Cats in the post-game interviews and on-field celebrations. This is a takeaway I had from watching the Blue Jays. When players and coaches very very convincingly say they’re “all rowing in the same direction, playing for each other, love the team” - I think that’s powerful ingredient for playoff success
The Als do seem like they might have momentum on their side (Alexander’s injury notwithstanding). The Riders…maybe it’s wishful thinking, but it seems like they might have peaked a little early?
As a newbie of CFL: What happened to Roughriders, giving them 1:0 lead at the very beginning?

In Canadian football, a single (also called a single point, or rouge) is a one-point score that is awarded for certain plays that involve the ball being kicked into the end zone and not returned from it.
Thanks!
Allez les Alouettes!! Go Riders!
Seriously, the Riders are in tough against Rourke and the Lions, but I think they’ll make it through. In the East, the Tabbies are the better team, but Montreal a good history as the underdog, so I think they might pull it off.
Good game so far! I think I’m cheering for the Ti-Cats to come back and win. The Ti-Cats and Lions’ black jerseys are some of my favourite CFL jerseys
Oh well. Good for the Als
