      Interesting. How were you able to tell?

      I suppose the extra character might be offensive to some, but from another POV, the minimalism of the later one conveys the joke better IMO.

        I have a copy of Loose Tails, the first publication of collected Bloom County strips, i check it after posting strips here.

        There are a lot of strips that were published in Loose Tails, and some of them are out of order, so sometimes it takes a while to find a strip is, vs it was not published.

        As to the change, i prefer the original. It proves without a doubt Steve does in fact have the wrong house. However from what we know of Bobbi, she would not have a shotgun, nor would she point it at Steve. The same is true of Cutter John, and if he did point a shotgun at Steve, it would be at his groin, not his face.
