The whole point of this post is that people are gonna be drunk all day. Do not assume that every time they think of a “man” they have a horrible experience of him being a terrible person.
He doesn’t mean she was a “beautiful” person. He just loves her. She was someone that he deeply, genuinely loved. I imagine that he would want to hold her, and he would want to have sex with her in a way that made sense to him.
I’m sorry for the word choice but I really think it’s a good way of expressing that some people are just really weird and really want to hold their partner for who they are rather than who they think they’re.
