You’re not wrong, but a big part of this is the maturity of the industry as a whole. The more a technology progresses, the harder it is to make significant leaps. There were many more “easy wins” back in the Jobs days as personal computers were a relatively new thing.

      Definitely fewer interesting products.

      Steve:

      • iMac, especially the first couple
      • iPod
      • PowerMac
      • iPhone
      • iPad

      Tim:

      • Apple Watch
      • Vision Pro

… and the idea for Watch may have started during Steve’s time, too. And I’m probably forgetting some of the ones during Steve’s time.

I remember making fun of the iPad when it came out, like pretending it’s just a huge-ass phone. Who needs this?!

I’ve used mine for hundreds of hours, now. It’s the best thing ever for power outages. It’s such a good art tablet. I love it.
