They want to turn Reddit into a rightwing echo chamber. Lately there are so many comments on lemmy about people getting perma banned, including myself, for breaking rule 1. However in most cases, like myself, only made a comment without any harm or even a reference to violence. I only commented that ICE can forget about their payments and bonuses and that in 3 years time, they’ll be sucking immigrant cock behind a Wendy’s. That got me a perma ban after 15 years on Reddit. All these tech bros are bending the knee and getting taken from behind. Such short term thinking will become their downfall. If this happens, it’ll be a good thing for Lemmy.

Not missed it. Not reported on because of fear of reprisals and majority of the media is right winged so it doesn’t suit their narrative. The media in the US is completely controlled now. Freedom of the press is now a feverdream.
China last year invested over a trillion dollars in green energy. China generates more power from electricity than the US and Europe combined. This is quite an interesting read:
China will not be impacted that much as you think. China is much more oil independent than before. Unlike the US, China invests heavily in green energy and nuclear energy. The only country that is behind in all of this, it’s the US.

Even African countries like Morocco have high speed train network. But the US? Of course no. How can you invade a country for wind or sunshine? Than again with the current bunch of science denying fuck wits in charge, you’ll never know. They don’t need any excuse or justification. The US is stuck in the 19th century in regards to infrastructure.
It will be more like Afghanistan. Iran is mostly mountainous and guerilla warfare will be the default. The US relies too much on technology which will not that useful in that environment. Don’t forget that the Iran army has been training for years for this type of conflict. Afghanistan was a disaster for American troops but will be nothing compared to Iran.
