I’ve only bought two new cars but don’t consider the depreciation a scam, it’s something everyone knows is going to happen going into it so although I feel I made a bad choice doing it, I don’t blame the dealership. The high-pressure bullshit is also to be expected, sadly.

Used, OTOH, is an absolute scam. On trade-in, they make number adjustments to get the used car basically free and on the sale-end, they dress it up, tell the buyer that it’s been through a 5,000 point quality check and sell you whatever got bought at auction or traded in. They get even scammier if you finance through them. I’ve seen 16% interest rate for a buyer with an 800+ credit score.

The whole thing is predatory in nature.

It’s no more or less a news aggregator than Facebook. You may find something relating to news on lemmy but you’re just as likely to find a drawing of a couple furries fisting each other.

I consider the site an online community where anyone can participate in or create a category to discuss anything under the sun.

I believe the 2020 change is that the receptacle needed to be GFCI protected. The convenience receptacles have been in the book for longer.

I think NEC dictates that a convenience 110v receptacle must be within 25 ft of a WH so that’s probably why the company assumes the plug is enough.

Congrats. If funds permit, consider swapping the anode rod for a powered unit. Pretty much negates scale buildup, smells and corrosion. It also lasts the life of the tank, unlike the sacrificial anode rod.

It sounds like you’ve found some games you like but are turned off of by some difficulty bottlenecks. If that’s the case, considerWeMod. It’s a trainer for a ton of games that allow you to “cheat” in singleplayer games(god mode, speed hacks, etc.)

I still love playing games but as I get older, my tremors get worse, making it impossible for me to get through one on my own. WeMod allows me to explore all of the game world without being stopped by something as simple as clicking on something quickly.
