MajesticElevator@lemmy.zipto Plex@lemmy.ca•That's all folks, Plex is starting to charge for sharingEnglish24·5 hours agoYou state that you have a plex pass and are a server owner. In that case you shouldn’t be affected, yet you’re saying you are… what?
MajesticElevator@lemmy.zipto Plex@lemmy.ca•Plex ending support for Watch TogetherEnglish1·5 hours agoIt sucks :( it was really nice - a must have
MajesticElevator@lemmy.zipto Plex@lemmy.ca•Plex ending support for Watch TogetherEnglish1·5 hours agoNice when watching this with friends that are somewhere else, or even when someone is in another room and you only have small screens so it’s better to have only 1 person in front of each. (+ call at the same time to react etc…)
I mean there are many uses for this… a lot of people screen share themselves watching movies or series, even videos
MajesticElevator@lemmy.zipto Plex@lemmy.ca•Plex ending support for Watch TogetherEnglish1·5 hours agoYup
It’s a bit bugged (when moving (forwarding or rewinding) it bugs and it is needed to press pause/resume a couple of times), but apart from that, no sync issues (with the option to sync enabled (disabled by default))
I wish someone would fix this code but the author of this code apparently left and no one knows how to fix it
MajesticElevator@lemmy.zipto Plex@lemmy.ca•That's all folks, Plex is starting to charge for sharingEnglish21·5 hours agowhy can’t you expose it like Plex? You can do it… I don’t get your comment
Just open the right ports or config a reverse proxy 🤔. No need for a VPN
You know some games that do that?
MajesticElevator@lemmy.zipto Games@lemmy.world•Microsoft is raising prices on Xbox consoles, controllers, and games worldwideEnglish11·9 hours agoExcept that if no advertising is done, the game’s sales are probably a lot lower (which is why they do it). If the game doesn’t do well initially, it’s less likely that you’ll find it years later as well

The first one is correct

And I have to change my OS settings because modifying the theme in libreoffice’s settings doesn’t work (Linux) 😵
I’m already on a couple ones so all good 😊
I’ve had many bugs with it (like dark theme that seems completely broken)
Do anyone know a printer that doesn’t do that?

MajesticElevator@lemmy.zipto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Vaultwarden selfhosting, or bitwarden service?English1·2 days agoThis: backups might be a pain to handle. Bitwarden does that for you + redundancy.
Depends on the amount of work the person does. I know I’m a lazy self hoster that takes time to update software.
MajesticElevator@lemmy.zipto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Vaultwarden selfhosting, or bitwarden service?English15·2 days agoIt’s important to specify that the items are encrypted using a key derived from your password, so Bitwarden themselves don’t have access to your passwords even if they wanted to.
Since they handle redundancy and backups I think it’s fine staying with them (+ great product)
Oh yea but I mean this change isn’t recent (well, it is but it was announced some time ago), so I focused on the part where you said that even plex pass didn’t work
I’m focusing on your edit
